Parkland College Dental Hygiene Clinic
About This Clinic
Students training in the Dental Hygiene program at Parkland College provides the following dental services:
- Dental cleanings.
- Radiography.
- Blood pressure screening.
- Oral cancer screening.
- Oral hygiene instruction.
- Nutrition counseling.
- Pit and fissure sealants.
- Fluoride treatments.
- Whitening (additional $150).
Documents needed:Medical history and pharmaceuticals.
Fees:$10 per semester. No charge for seniors 65 and older, children under 11, and those on Medicaid.
Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Referral procedures:By appointment. Appointments are 3.5 hours long and patients may need more than one appointment.
